God The Creator

Are you wondering how to introduce the bible to your child?  I would suggest starting with the book of Genesis.  God's creation. "In the Beginning".  This magnificent story of "The Beginning" revealed God's creativity, majesty and love.  After reading in the book of Genesis, your child or children will start to take notice of God's beautiful creation and they will start to express their appreciation for it.

Teaching starts in the home... :)

What Is A Mother Worth?

A financial analyst statistics show 25 million full-time homemakers contribute billions to the economy every year, although their labor is not counted in our society.  A mother at home performs: coaching, teacher, interior decorator, religious education instructor and child psychologist just to name a few.    Your government should give you a medal for productivity.  Your family should appreciate and cherish you.

Yes, indeed!  The mother who stays at home is really one of the unsung heroines of today!  You are irreplaceable and very important to society.  You help create stable homes which produce solid, stable productive citizens who make a difference in this world!

Mother, you have permission to salute yourself if no one else does it for you!  Know that God's knows your worth and that is all that matters.  YOU are valuable!  YOU are needed!  YOU are important!  Thank YOU!

~Proverbs 31:28-31~ "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her....Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate".

May God continue to bless you and strengthen you!  In Jesus Name, Amen.....

A Prayer for our Children in School

It was placed on my heart this morning just to pray for ALL children that attend school.

Our Heavenly Father, we ask of you right now to loose your holy angels into our homes, school buses, schools and playgrounds to force out ALL satan's demonic spirits and strongholds and send them back to the pit of hell!  We ask you to cover our children, their classmates, teachers, principal and each family represented in the schools with the blood of Jesus Christ.  I ask you to loose Your angels around them to protect and guard them from the wiles of the enemy.  Father, I ask in the Name of Jesus to bless every person who is reading this prayer on this day and that we have prayed for, in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Amen!

May you have a blessed and joyous day in the Lord.....

Beauty from the Inside

1 Peter 3:3-4
Are you teaching your daughters that beauty is from the inside and not the outside?  Today's society has caused many of our girls to focus merely on their outer beauty than inner beauty.  Let's look at what God says, "1 Peter 3:3-4"  "Do not let your beauty depend on outward things like arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God".

Are you curious of how you can help develop this kind of beauty that is so valued by God?  First, teach your daughters how to develop a relationship with our Father.  Spending time alone with Him and reading His word is required.  Mother's, don't depend solely on pretty clothes and hair to make your daughters beautiful.  Allow God's beauty treatment to transform how she is to look on the outside.

Our daughters should wear modest and decent clothing, not drawing attention to themselves by what they wear or by the way they fix their hair.  Teach your daughters how to avoid dressing with a message that says, "Look at me!"

Influencing Our Children for God's Purpose

Parents, read the book of Numbers 26

During the first census in Israel, Moses assigned different people to lead in worship.  Each role given help to shape the community.  Are you making a difference in the lives of your children and grandchildren by serving God and dedicating your children to His service?

Share with your family the "point people" who have most affected your life for the Lord.  Help them to vision service in the Kingdom of God.

God Bless All the Parents and Children with Peace.  Amen.

Love Your Kids

~1 John 4:19~  "We love because he first loved us".
The Power of Encouragement.....

Lord, I thank You for loving me and empowering me to love others.  Help me to love my kids with words of affirmation and encouragement.  Help me to make a priority of giving them my time, attention and affection, to really listen to them so they will feel loved and valued.  I pray for the wisdom to discipline in love, the energy to play, and the ability to laugh and enjoy my kids.  Thank You for my children and Your love for all of us.

Praying God's Grace, Peace and Wisdom
be with all the Parents and their Children.  Amen.

Plant Seeds from God's Book

Parents, the Bible is the most important book a child can read.  When you sow a seed and put it in the ground, this seed will make a plant and this plant will give seed again.  Know that your child is your plant that will bloom from your seed you have planted.  Plant the seeds from God's Book and they will grow from generation to generation.

"A knowledge of the Bible without a college course is more valuable than a college course without the Bible".

Where can I plant seeds of God's word today?

~2 Timothy 3:16-17~  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

A Moment for Mother's

God Makes Families.....

Has your curious angel asked, where does families come from?  If so, here's a humorious moment for mothers.

The curious angel asked God, "whatcha doing", God, working a puzzle?  God answered, smiling, "I'm making a family."  The curious angel began asking more questions.  A family, the curious angel replied!  Then the curious angel asked, what are the big pieces for?

God replied, those are the father. They work hard and bear a lot of burdens.  They're the image of the Heavenly Father and the security for their families.  The big shoulders are for carrying kids and for mothers to cry on.  The large feet symbolize the solid foundation, said God.

Next the curious angel asked God, what are the pretty pieces?  They're the mothers, God answered.  The curious angel said, they sure are pretty, but fragile, too, huh God?  God replied, don't let their looks deceive you.  They are small and pretty, but most of them are stronger than men.  You see, fathers look tough it makes everyone feel secure.  Mothers need to look pretty, but they are strong inside.  Their greatest strength is their love.

The curious angel asked God one more question.  What are the little pieces?  They're the children, God answered.  They make the families complete.  Fathers and mothers conceive the little children, but I give them life. We work together to bring a new life into the world.  Mom and Dad are the parents, and they then teach their children Christian values.

God continued, some families have just one member, but they're families too.  Families are held together by love, Mine and theirs.

God said, families hold the world together.....

~Ephesians 5:1~ "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

Have a Joyful Weekend!

Inspiration for Hurting Parents

God's Everlasting Love!

God has a heart for hurting parents.  Are you surprised?  After all, God Himself is a Father.  What parental emotion has He not felt.  Are you separated from your child?  So was God.  Is someone mistreating your child?  They mocked and bullied His.  Are you forced to watch while your child suffers?  God watched His Son on the cross.  Do you find youself wanting to spare your child from all the hurt in the world?  God did.

In the book of John 3:16, because of His great love for us, He gave His only and begotten Son so we are all able to have everlasting life.

Seek to build wisdom into your child, it is an honorable and sometimes difficult task.  If your child has strayed, take courage and hope from these words, that God understands your hurt.

Abstinence & The Bible

Did you know that the word "abstain" appears 6 times in the bible? Have you had "the talk" with your son or daughter about abstinence? Do you know the clear meaning of abstinence?

Abstain means, hold oneself off, or refrain from a certain act. A Christian foundation is learned through God's word and application. When our son and daughter takes a position of sustaining total abstinence, there is a 100% success rate if their position is held. Pray daily with your son or daughter, prayer is highly important and needed in their life.

Colossians 3:5 "Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire and covetousness, which is idolatry."

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 "For this is the will of God, your santification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you learn how to control his own body in holiness and honor."

Be strong in the Lord, Amen.

Love in Action

1 John 3:18  Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

As "we" the Parents would like to be a good example for our young people (our kids, their schoolmates or the neighbors kids), let us teach our children that as the bible says; LOVE is a true action word not just a spoken word.

We hope all the children show LOVE toward others. ACTIONS SPEAK MUCH LOUDER THAN JUST WORDS!

► God bless YOU and YOURS.

Character over Appearance

 Teach Your Daughter *

Parents it is highly vital that you tell your daughter how beautiful she is, so that she want seek outside the family to hear this message.  Even more vital to than praising her appearance, though, is affirming her character.  You should teach your daughter what God values are.  It's the inner heart and character of an individual.

The bible states in Proverbs 31:30,  "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

Remember to compliment your daughter on her inner beauty frequently.  Encourage her to cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ by being a character model before her.  Most importantly, pray fervently for your daughter daily.  In today's world the temptations are more overt and bold, satan is out to kill, steal and destroy our families.

Teach your daughter to be prepared!

The Ten Commandments

Parents, are you teaching your children about God's ten commandments?  If not, you should be.  I highly recommend it.

God demands total devotion.  The ten commandments govern the relationship between God and those who love Him.  God has given us guidelines so our moral life will be pleasing to Him.  Teach your children holiness doesn't seek to be odd.  Holiness seeks to be like God. Amen.

The 10 Commandments; ~Exodus 20:3-17~

Verse 12-"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you."

A Prayer for Growing Children

~2 Peter 3:18~
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To him be glory both now and forever!"  Amen.

~John 14:23~
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.  My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."

~Psalm 78:4-5~
"We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.  he decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children."

Prayer: Lord, as my child mature, I pray that he/she would come to know You personally and grow in Your grace and knowledge.  May it bring glory to Your name as I train him/her.  Protect and keep my child in Your tender care as he/she learn to make wise decisions on their own.  Guide me as I feed my child Your word and teach Your Christian ways.  Help my child to have a thankful, forgiving and giving heart.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Life Lessons

Like no one else, we as parents can unlock the door to a child's uncommonness.  As parents, we can accelerate or stifle our children's giftedness.  The bible stays in Proverbs 22:6, "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

How will we train our children?  Let's take a look at two very important lessons a child will need.

Teach your child LOVE. We must teach our children that the main necessity of men, women and children is love.  Without love, we as God's children are empty.  One of God's greatest gift's is LOVE.  Love never fails.....  (I personally thank God for the gift of love...)  Amen.

*READ: ~(John 13:35, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, and 1John 4:7:11)~

Teach your child INTEGRITY.  Integrity is regarded as honesty and truthfulness of one's action.  Show them God's way and His integrity.  The way they should go... the right way, the only way, the best way and the safest way.

*READ: ~(John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Matthew 7:13-14 and John 10:4)~

May God continue to Bless each and everyone of you.  Read His word and gain an abundance of wisdom.
