Have you ever sat down and just watched television with your kids? Are the shows that they are watching reinforcing the character traits and values that you and I work hard daily to instill in them? Or are those shows tearing all our hard work down? That's a good question to ask ourselves, especially now when television shows are "telling a vision." Visions of Dad's portrayed as idiots, good for nothing more than their wallet and Mom's are either large and in charge, sexual objects, or both. Let's not even talk about the witchcraft wrapped up all cute like.
In times like these we have no choice but to really seek the LORD and be led by His Spirit. We can't afford to sacrifice our children to the spirit and voices of this age for mere entertainment or convenience sake. We all know the Scripture, Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they shall not depart. Proverbs 22:6 So as parents we need to like never before seriously train our children in the Word, with the Word, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. The devil is not playing parents, he's out to pull our kids away from God and even us. It's time to shake ourselves and rise up and allow the Holy Spirit in us to lift up the standard against the devil in our homes. Isaiah 59:19 Our children need us and guess what? God needs our children! Why? To be the next wave of assault in the war against the kingdom of darkness. Let's be even more diligent to help our children fight successfully in every area of their lives especially, where entertainment is concerned.

Amen! Marva this is so true. We must check and see what the TV is saying in our homes. This is just another way for the enemy to infiltrate our families with his evil.
Thanks Marva and glory to God!!
Amen Sister! Excellent reminder! Sometimes the enemy is really blatant in his tactics and other times the messages can be so subtle. We must stay on guard and remain diligent.
