WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING

A message every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my

favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each other.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and
productive person when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and
wanted to say,'Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking'

REMEMBER OUR CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS WATCHING. LET YOUR SO SHINE... Matthew 5:16

Hebrews 4:13

Hebrews 4:13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

When I read this scripture it helped confirm what I explained to my daughters about the reality of Gods presence this weekend.

When we go on about our day whether it be work or play how often are we really aware of the presence of God in all we do? I know myself even my heart is joined with Christ, the mind is not always there.. There are many days lately where I feel if I am not speaking with God then the voice of evil which tries to take the idea of Him away will succeed! This is a human weakness. but with Gods strength it is overcome.

My oldest daughter asked me Sunday as we studied Matthew together, " Mom when I am praying how will I know God's voice?" "A lot of times when I pray I am not sure He answers me"

This was a really good question one I had struggled with for a very long time and sometimes still do. But as I asked God to lead me I explained to her what I am learning myself when hearing Gods voice for me is an unexplainable feeling when my heart and my mind come together in agreement.. It is not only a voice of some kind but I am learning also God doesn't necessarily have to speak to you in your ear for you to hear Him. You can be reading or you could be having a conversation with another person or pass by the t.v. and something will touch your heart and your mind and that there is God reaching out to you.

When I asked her if that made sense she smiled and said "yes". I explained to my daughter that by just becoming aware of your surroundings can be ways that God is trying to bless you with His presence and we may never know if we do not confess and believe that we are always in Gods presence. It must become as real to us as the air we need to breath especially as a new believer and/or youth. Being aware can make a huge impact on how you respond to Gods attempts to reach out to you..

Not only talking about God or studying or finding the time to pray in silence can be considered being in His presence but coming to the reality that no matter what your doing or who your with or where you are at, "Forever and always will we remain in the presence of God." At no time in life are we alone or without our creator even if appears that way by unanswered prayers or conversation with God leading to the "WHYS" or "HOW COMES" in our lives..

We need to be bold with our children and their relationship with God and the truth of His presence which is everlasting. Not only is His presence everlasting but sharing the truth that we will not always hear a response or be revealed an answer and that we should not be disappointed or allow our hearts to be hardened. We as believers young or old need to be confident in our love for God, which will lead us to know for certain that He will always hand us the right solutions, just by pressing into Him at all times and fully relying on Him to control the situations by believing in your heart that the end result will always end in His good will!. The mind can be a huge challenge in this journey for it is conformed to this world and gripped by the sinful nature we have been born with.

Our hearts is where the Holy Spirit resides and if we confess our love daily and fall in the presence of the Lord the mind can only attempt to trip us but it shall never make us fall away from the Faith God has gifted each of us with!

So parents be sure to indulge in the Lord presence, encourage your children to indulge in Him as well. For our dwelling is within Him now and always....

John 1:1-3, 14

John 1
The Word Became Flesh
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.
3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made

John 1:14
14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[a] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Truth in Christmas for our Children:

can be read throughout the bible and confirmed in the Gospel..

Matthew 1:22-24

22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."

24When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

Luke 2:29-32

29"Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
you now dismiss your servant in peace.
30For my eyes have seen your salvation,
31which you have prepared in the sight of all people,
32a light for revelation to the Gentiles
and for glory to your people Israel."

The birth of Jesus Christ brings us the celebration of CHRISTmas.. For many generations over have lost the meaning of this life altering day. The birth if Jesus Christ 1 Peter 1:3
[ Praise to God for a Living Hope ] Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

There is song you can hear by Faith Hill, A baby changes everything..the words within itself are eye opening to Gods love.. Can you imagine life without the Birth of Jesus Christ? We were gifted a new life a new creation in Him.. Our God saw we were dead in sin by the law given to Moses. We were torn between sinful nature and wanting to please our Creator. He knew without the son of God we were all destined for Hell. By delivering His son through Mary
Luke 1:35-38
35The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[c] the Son of God. 36Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. 37For nothing is impossible with God."

38"I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her.

(Jesus) He gave us Hope of a life away from Sin. On this day is where we should find ourselves loving each gift given to us through the blood of Jesus Christ birth.. We have gotten lost in a world who is excited for fat jolly old man named Santa Clause which in fact has been transformed by men from being a Christian man named St Nicholas who was,

The Historical Saint Nicholas

The historical Saint Nicholas of Myrna was a fourth century bishop in what is now Turkey. Nicholas had the good fortune to be born to wealthy parents, and after their deaths he became famous for using his inheritance to help the poor. One legend tells of Nicholas taking pity on a family whose father could not afford dowry money for his three daughters to wed. Nicholas visited their house in secret, and tossed a bag of gold for each girl through the window.

These three bags of gold have become one of the enduring symbols of the Saint’s charity, represented by both the oranges commonly included in Christmas or St. Nicholas Day celebrations, and the three gold balls which advertise pawn shops.

The historical Saint Nicholas is represented with a full, short white beard, and wearing the red cape of a bishop over white priestly robes. He carries a crosier, or elaborate shepherd’s crook, and wears a red bishop’s mitre, or pointed hat. In Eastern Orthodox iconography, he is often shown holding a book of the Gospels, with Jesus Christ over one shoulder and Theotokos, the Greek name for Mary, Mother of Jesus, over the other.
The appeal of this kind and generous saint is such that he and his story have been celebrated and reinterpreted by generations of Christian cultures all over the globe.

"Today's society has lost the idea of what Christmas was given us for" The Gospel was brought to us on this very day by the birth of a Son. A Son of God who would one day give the ultimate gift of life on the cross. The blood of one man which would be the Holy One that would be shed by man to save man! He would die for our sins. This day was given to us to remember with celebration and lights and representing nothing but love and gifts of truth and glory to God.

Instead we have spoiled our children with a story of a Fat jolly man from a make believe place in the world filled with magic and hand helped of tiny people that will judge us by the presents that are left under a tree or in a stocking of our right and wrongs throughout the year. At what point did God ask us to turn His gift into a fairytale?

I come to you boldly and ask that you approach your children with truth this year. Give them the ultimate gift. Allow them to know who God is and what He did for us by allowing a woman of His creation to give birth to Himself as a man to live as we live and endure what we endure and show Faith in a Sovereign God that no one can see but feel in their hearts by a gift of a spirit that Jesus left behind as He was crucified on the cross.. Gift them with Honor in knowing who their Creator is and how much He loves them.. Gift your children with bibles and stories of what God has done and will continue to do throughout time.. Gift them with Gods love and teach them the truth pertaining Old St. Nick and allow them to know the beauty in giving to others that are hungry and poor or lost on this very day in all parts of the world. Which has been corrupted by satan and hear their cry out to God..

Give your children a gift and introduce them to missions of greatness in God and powerful scriptures that will mold them in Gods love and good will for many generations to come.. To find the true meaning of Christmas is not in department stores going broke trying to please someones selfish desire of a product they surely do not need that we as parents have unfortunately planted in them!

But love your children show them the gifts God has in store for them as they grow in their own relationships with The Father, The Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. The trinity marked with peace love and unity, something they will never find in a desire of the flesh.. God is real and He gifted us a son of mercy to show us the extreme of mercy and love we should have for others.. Instead of a wish list this year attempt a gift list.. Ask them to make a list of all the gifts they have received from God. Ask them to list what God has done for them and their families. Ask them to list 5 people they would like to help with their Faith in one way or another.. Make your gifts to Jesus this year by sharing the Gospel with your children..

Psalm 72

Psalm 72
Of Solomon.

3 The mountains will bring prosperity to the people,
the hills the fruit of righteousness.

4 He will defend the afflicted among the people
and save the children of the needy;
he will crush the oppressor.

5 He will endure [b] as long as the sun,
as long as the moon, through all generations.

7 In his days the righteous will flourish;
prosperity will abound till the moon is no more.

12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
the afflicted who have no one to help.

13 He will take pity on the weak and the needy
and save the needy from death.

14 He will rescue them from oppression and violence,
for precious is their blood in his sight.

16 Let grain abound throughout the land;
on the tops of the hills may it sway.
Let its fruit flourish like Lebanon;
let it thrive like the grass of the field.

17 May his name endure forever;
may it continue as long as the sun.
All nations will be blessed through him,
and they will call him blessed.

18 Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel,
who alone does marvelous deeds.

19 Praise be to his glorious name forever;
may the whole earth be filled with his glory.
Amen and Amen.

It seems as if I have chopped the psalm 72 in pieces right? Truth be told I wanted you to share in His promises an Glories. The more I read through prayers for others and live my own life I see the fears/falls of financial suffering, illness, loss, children's misbehavior becoming more and more. Is it because my heart is more open then ever before or is it because people are falling further and further away from our Heavenly Father? I do not know to be honest! But I do know everyday I am made to believe I am extreme in my relationship/faith with God due to the Faith God promises me and I live to return to Him this promise, Hebrews 11
By Faith
1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Everyday the devil tries little harder to break me down..

The most wonderful promises for me that I have found are from God and found through others struggles through time. My fears lessen, do they disappear? Not 100% we can thank Satan for that it will be a lifelong attack until my final hour here in this place, but Let me promise you all it will never amount to be anything more than an attack! Satan may not win! I can not be moved!

Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

It is time, the fear stops today, with His promises..

We are loosing our homes, our families, our incomes and our comfort, but what we are not loosing is our God. Satan can only win if we let go of God and let Satan claim his victory...We have lost all that was material (I can say all because I am one who has lost my home, family, income, and O' YES comfort) all that is made up in the world but not made up of God. He has released His true Gifts, it will not be anything that you hold dear here as you live, we are loved so we may love others and live out GODS WILL.. This means to serve others in love, kindness and joy.. He receives ALL the Glory even in times of despair. He wants us to lean on Him not on our own strength. For if we continue to do this we shall surely fail.. The children of God have been experiencing loss since the beginning, They learned simplicity with Gods love and they learned to trust in Gods ways and those who did not well all you have to do is open the book of truth and you shall find the results/consequence's of separation of God and self reliance!

Children of God, ears that have fallen deaf or have yet to be enlighten understand God gives us the warnings of the fallen

Jeremiah 6:10
To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.

The world is not ours it His love (GOSPEL) that we may claim and use to build up His creations of all kind for Good and defeat Satan where he was thrown to for His punishment and stomping grounds.. God can hear us, our children will live beyond us, Leave treasures in their midst, allow them to know God and trust God even in the storm! As Jonah was sent to the ocean God provided the fish to allow Him to realize GODS greatness!
Jonah 2
Jonah's Prayer
1 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the LORD his God. 2 He said:
"In my distress I called to the LORD,
and he answered me.
From the depths of the grave [a] I called for help,
and you listened to my cry.
3 You hurled me into the deep,
into the very heart of the seas,
and the currents swirled about me;
all your waves and breakers
swept over me.

4 I said, 'I have been banished
from your sight;
yet I will look again
toward your holy temple.'

5 The engulfing waters threatened me, [b]
the deep surrounded me;
seaweed was wrapped around my head.

6 To the roots of the mountains I sank down;
the earth beneath barred me in forever.
But you brought my life up from the pit,
O LORD my God.

7 "When my life was ebbing away,
I remembered you, LORD,
and my prayer rose to you,
to your holy temple.

8 "Those who cling to worthless idols
forfeit the grace that could be theirs.

9 But I, with a song of thanksgiving,
will sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will make good.
Salvation comes from the LORD."

10 And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

God is and always was our provider of all that is good done in Him.. The history was placed at our feet to know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, Understand who and what is "LORD", we serve our Lord, We rely on our Lord and we trust our Lord and we Praise our Lord and teach our children to honor the same things of our Lord. As unbeliever we reap what we sow just as a believer may reap what is sewn.. Ask yourself what seeds are you sewing? Do they reflect Christ the King or do they reflect the prince of the world?

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

Times are tough and may get tougher or may get easier for some, either way don't you believe for a second your God has forsaken you or does not hear you do to worldly circumstances. In time all will be in the greatness of His presence until that truth in moment arrives stay faithful, come to your knees in prayer, surrender your lives let go of your wrongs and allow Jesus to set the stage of true sacrifice. Do not fall short of your repentance and release your hearts to the spirit of Christ and be renewed, refreshed in Jesus name.. Just as He remains Faithful to us even we let him down by falling to our sinful nature and begin to doubt or accuse rather then endure and love!
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Glory be to God forever and ever!

God Bless you brothers and sisters
I love you

Genesis 3:16

Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."

"Was it a question or a observation?"

MaKayla turns to me and says "Why did God only make women have labor pain" I think "where is this going" knowing MaKayla it could go anywhere.. So I explained my understanding of Gods reasoning was because he created a woman to be nurturing and comforting, caring and committed to raise her children in love, Gods love and to be available always to her family by discerning the need of her strength which is introduced by enduring the strongest pain she will ever experience by giving birth then a pain very similar will extend throughout the remainder of her life to care and protect her children and others.. She then asked "what did God want the men to do since they weren't meant to have babies?" Again with my understanding I responded that God created men to lead us in Faith and provide for His family to endure the beatings of the world as He surrenders himself to his family with providing all that they would need. which is painful as well, it can demand physical, mental and emotional strength to take such a responsibility and still remain pleasing to God..

MaKaylas curiosity doesn't end there as she continues to read through her bible she finds what God asks of us or has designed things to be and compares it to our present life and see were not there..

I went onto explain to her that God made us all very different but with the same image with responsibilities to Him in how we live in Him.. We are born sinners and even at birth we should be introduced to God and His love so that we can grow in Him and invite His spirit to lead us in our decisions through life. But unfortunately we fail to do this and we grow up with our own ideas and end up living out many consequences do to our choices in life.

MaKaylas questions led to wanting to know "if God planned a women to nurture and a man to provide then why is there no man in her life to provide and her mother was made to do both.. I answered this with two truths. First, admitting her Father and I sinned and to please understand when you sin it falls away from God and life plays out against Gods design. God designed me to be a woman and a mother but because of the sins I lived and her father as well we altered the design which left me to be mother and father to her on earth.. She seemed concerned, So I continued to express to her God will not forsake you when you sin, He will always love you but it is up to you as a child of God to talk to God always and ask Him to lead you and forgive you when you have done something against His will. We need to follow what God has asked us to do since the beginning of time. Which is to rely on Him and not our own flesh/ideas and follow His ways. Second truth the one man God promises in our lives that will always provide always protect, always love and never leave us is Jesus Christ and as long as you open our heart and accept Jesus as your Lord an Savior and always turn to His sacrifice as the living promise God made to her, She will know that even if on earth she has no earthly Father, Her heavenly Father is and always will be there for her.. For He was made with pure intentions, He will never sin which will never alter Gods design for His love for her!

Being in the word is not only transforming parents but it is all revealing in truth even to your children.. We were given the choice to share the gospel with the world this includes our children and as we stray or are children who never really knew we will have more to explain not only to God but we are obligated to be truthful throughout all our experiences to our children, if their salvation is truly our motive..

Praying for our children and parents, praying that we all take some time and discern Gods love and begin to live our lives in the fruitful spirit, He has promised us by serving Him only by doing this Satan will not have the opportunity to convince we are missing out on something greater more self centered or that we surely will not die..

Genesis 3:3-5 (NIV)
3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "

4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

Philippians 3:3

For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—

As we grow older we can see just how confidence can define us in everything we do, but as children we learn confidence by praise and encouragement from our parents.

We face challenges with the confidence we see our parents using...

As a child I grew up watching my mother display confidence as a single mother of three with no one to truly appreciate the sacrifice involved.. I watched her struggle in many ways financially, mentally and physically. She was my hero in a lot of ways... Unfortunately the confidence I learned from her was confidence of the Flesh. She depended solely on herself to provide for her children and herself and fell victim to wordily ways.. As a single mother I have followed my mothers footsteps inch by inch for as long as I can remember until recently when I discovered a confidence that works. My confidence in Jesus Christ!

My entire life I found confidence in my flesh following what it craved or what it wanted to do in all circumstances..

Discovering confidence in Christ was the key to all success even when there was no personal gain... To know God and to trust in Him always will lead you away from the life that you feel is pulling you down the wrong path..

As parents we sometimes forget how easy we influence our children in many situations. They become confident at birth as they reach for their mothers fingers during a feeding, feeling confident in the love that is growing between the two that confidence builds trust..

As we lead our children in life situations we should always be exampling a trust in God a trust in scripture to find answers in life..

If we allow ourselves to rely always on God even in the hardest of times our children will see joy where there was once worry, they will see laughter where there was once tears, they will witness love where there was once anger.. The more we lead by spending time in the word reading, studying and praying with our children they will grow to see a relationship with God. A relationship that will be like no other. But one that can be copied with every person they will meet throughout their lives.. If we display anger with sin they learn easily how to implement the wrong confidence to their everyday situations. There is a confidence in Christ we fail to show to our children and it is time we allow them to witness us fall to our knees asking God to lead us through the anger and find discernment and confidence through the situations. At least then we have come to a point where the Spirit will manifest in all we do and everyone in our lives... Not only will their confidence be influenced in prayer but as they hear us worshiping and praising Him always with song and thanksgiving they will begin to imitate what is good in our lives and what know the relationship God has called us to have.

As a single mother life is challenging. I am confident in saying for all of us the parent role are very different for we all have our individual challenges being parents. What I pray we begin to focus more on is growing in the spirit and building a love relationship with Jesus Christ and finding confidence in God always as we begin letting go of the flesh ideas of living and lead with confidence in our childrens lives...

God Bless you
I love you
Kristie

Isaiah 58:6-8

Isaiah 58:6-8 (NIV) 6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

The Lord has placed something in our hearts as we grow in the spirit.. We begin to see the lives as others more meaningful regardless of their trades, successes and families... We hear or see of someone in need and begin to feel a pull at the strings in our hearts attached to the slight lump that forms in the throat and the quizziness on the pits of our stomachs, Some of us find tears and the urge to do more at any cost..

The greatest gift I have realized God has given me to pass onto my children is that very presence of God in my life and that very longing to serve as many as The Lord will allow.. I have always had this certain pull in me to love unconditionally but it wasn't before the Holy spirit took flight that I realized how powerful and supernatural this could be for anyone who just believed in The Promises of The Lord...

The idea of "Thessalonians Faith" came to me about a month after The spirit urged me to do something for others from far away.. I was speaking with a brother in Christ from Africa and he was explaining to me the false religions that have conquered this part of the world. He described some images he faced daily while assisting where he could in a place where it seemed had no ends to the poverty and abandonment from all humanity... It was confirmed a million times over in my lifetime watching programs of missionaries in all parts of this continent and many others seeking help to feed the hungry and clothe the naked..

So I spoke with my daughters about what the spirit was leading us to do. I explained to them God wants us to do more.. Their response was expected from children of innocence.. No concerns of the challenges ahead or the false ideas that most adults are burdened with as the devil fills them with that doubt or deceit against another in need..

We began to collect materials for Africa.. The girls and I began asking friends and family for collections of clothing, infants needs, shoes, toys etc... We agreed we needed help on this endeavor of Gods and that with His Strength and Will it can be done.. Spent time in prayer seeking answers for His mission.

After a few weeks We received multiple bags of clothes from so many willing to provide the need for others... Additional items being dropped at the house, coming home to finding more treasures for these beautiful children lost in Africa that God has chosen us to love unconditionally.. It was an amazing experience to share with my daughters.. We asked the girls who participated in our bible study group on Sundays to assist us with the packaging of the items on our scheduled times.

For weeks we were buried in clothes and other items.. Smiles and excitement from the children, awes and ewes of the baby clothes they were packing away.. As we worked together for Christ their conversations remained in the spirit... Joy filled the hearts as if they were the ones receiving the gifts.. This verse really begins to speak to me as I give thanks to Jesus for setting the stage

Isaiah 58: 7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

I first doubted the calling when it first came.. I will say to you it could have been a great mistake had I listened to the devil and ignored what God said can be done in His name.. I thought how can I do this I cant even afford my own family? God reminds me you cant but I can! I thought okay this is too much work, to much hassle, to much red tape and no one wants to help.. God responded I gave you the assignment I will provide all that you will need to share in my love.. He made it clear to me this was going to be done.
This is a place in his creation where Gods love is refused and snuffed out by voodoo or disbelief in Jesus' way to LOVE one another. The commandment that leads us to Him is being completely snuffed out by the leaders of this place who have come to follow the evil one..
Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV) 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[a] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[b]
God spoke truth and when there is truth there is no denial!

This verse confirms all that The Lord has placed on my heart to share with the daughters He has gifted me with.. To lead them into a place in their hearts where only God can be the ruler and saver..

Isaiah 58:8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness [a] will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

I ask that you allow the spirit always to lead you.. do not listen to the voice of satan who questions or disapproves of someones ability to care for them selves or their OWN kind... Begin by teaching your children to intercede for another who is need by prayer and gifts of love.. GODS LOVE.. We have all been blessed with gifts, these gifts are very different but all from the same spirit.. Allow your heart to lead you to help others always.. We easily doubt someones motive of charity, and we do this out loud where our children are effected.. Their hearts are corrupted by our verbal abuse against the request of the Lord.... Brothers and sisters what we need to claim is our refusal to give to others and our denial of public affections for others that we leave to our future generations.. Open your spirit and inspire and encourage the youth for this is the generation that can change nations and by FAITH MOVE MOUNTAINS!

God Bless you
I love you

1 John 3:18

1 John 3:18
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Another day closer to our Creator...

We were driving to the church for Kidstuff one day and Makayla my 8 year old began to tell me something about the tooth fairy and Santa coming soon... I looked into the rear view mirror and asked with honesty "MaKayla can I speak some truth to you that The Lord has placed in my heart?" "What do you believe is more important Jesus or Santa?" She responds "Jesus" "okay, Mama listen all the ideas you have had about Santa, Tooth fairy, Easter Bunny that I have been telling you for years have been a lie. I am all those things!" MaKayla smiles and said "nope na ah, Santa is real he even leaves me gifts with his name.." " No Mama that was me and I'm the one who left money under your pillows for your teeth and also the one who fills your Easter Basket with treats" MaKayla not really confused but a little disappointed in me that I had spent the last 8 years of her life lying to her...

I asked her if there was anything she wanted or needed to say to me about what I just said but she smiled and said "no"..A couple weeks prior we had already discussed as a family that we would not be celebrating the traditional Christmas this year, that the money that is usually spent on gifts for us and others will be using it to help pay for the shipping cost for our offerings to Benin Africa's church and orphanage that we have been collecting and packaging for the past month at home. The girls were okay with that and actually they seem to express excitement to do something great for Jesus..

As the weeks went on the girls asked "since we wont have presents will we get a tree." I explained to them "Christmas is not about a tree it is about the birth of Jesus Christ, Would it be okay if we replaced our tree from now on with a Nativity set?" They looked at one another and said "yes that would be cool!"

So far so good things are moving along nicely as the holidays come into play and the girls are hearing, seeing and experiencing what we once considered our Christmas holidays.. Without complaints, reproaches to the decision acceptance and thanksgiving right.....

This Thursday I had a Parent teacher conference with MaKayla's teacher and support staff.. As I was completing a questionnaire. MaKayla shouts out "My mom told me there was no Easter Bunny, No Tooth fairy, and No SANTA,and that she is all of them and has been signing Santa's name on my gifts."

The teacher looked at me with almost disgust you could see her posture change immediately. I smiled and looked at MaKayla and said "now why did I tell you those things?" She smiled and said "I dont know, because they were lies.." Teacher still eyeballing me from across the table.. I then asked MaKayla "why do you think I told you the truth? she responded "because God told you to!" "Yes He did and can you tell them why we celebrate Christmas?," Makayla sits straight up with a beautiful glow and says "We celebrate Jesus for Christmas", instantly the teachers posture loosen and we began to smile with MaKayla and the meeting went on..

I share this with you because at first I was almost ashamed of myself when my daughter told on me to her teacher, ashamed or embarrassed one of the two but I knew the first thought in my head was "Someone Kill me now.." but then, instantly I was reminded by the scripture
1 John 2:22
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.

I realized I was feeling humble for God... I wasn't ashamed but the embarrassment turned to humility but it was the greatest humility I ever knew. As MaKayla continued to confess Jesus Christ to her teacher I could feel the atmosphere in the room changing for the good.. I am thankful that God has opened my heart in new ways as a mother to my girls and as a daughter of Christ, and trusting in Him He is leading us straight to eternity with Him...

It can be difficult to keep up with the worlds way especially with Holiday traditions when your the minority it seems like and living for God... I realized lately how powerful God is and the changes He has made in our lives are everlasting and not just for the moment as long as we continue to confess the truth daily what God himself has breathed into the book of life... Be cautious that you do not compromise your faith to avoid the persecutions the world is ready to hand to you...
God is faithful and as long as you seek him in everything you do even the uncomfortable moments will become Great in Him....

Love you
God Bless
Kristie

Deuteronomy 4:9

Deuteronomy 4:9
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

"She doesn't understand why I am not like the other parents" My daughter now 12 and in junior high is discovering more of the world and how most people indulge in it.. Each day I see her grow more into a young woman I am reminded of myself at her age.. The Scripture above speaks to me little different far more personally then others. It tells me to remember where I was when it all began.. Disobedience, freewill, lying, stealing, all the wrong choices.. It was her age that I began to notice the world and all the fun it had to offer with drugs, alcohol, sexual immoralities the list can go on...

It began with a simple walks to the park with some friends... Pep rallies in 8th grade. Hanging out all hours of the days in the streets with friends. It was all to easy for me.. I can imagine how much easier it has become now...

I have always been very honest with my girls about where I came from and the challenges I faced as a child growing up.. Having to much freedom allowed me to make choices that were not the right ones.. Some say I am to bold to let them know so much about my life. But this scripture reminds me I need to be even bolder.... I love my girls far more than I ever loved myself..

The scripture reminds us to WATCH CLOSELY, so that you don't forget what your eyes have seen or let it slip from your heart. With Jesus blood I am redeemed and forgiven for the choices I made by repentance and surrender to God.. My daughter asks some simple things out of life, "Can I go to the football game after school with my friends?" Answer is always the same "Not at this time unless you don't mind if I and your sister tag along". Response is usually the same "never mind" at 12 regardless of what your friends may be doing I know what I was doing and I know not much has changed in the world for the better so the temptations are still the same.

So if your 12year old is looking for a football game this is something you as a family should be engaging in.. Other examples . "Mom can I walk around the mall with so so this weekend".. "Sure, we can all go together"... "Never mind" or "Why cant I go with them, their parents don't mind and trust them"

Again WATCH CLOSELY... I was that 12 year old saying the same thing knowing darn well what I was asking to do, walking the mall hanging with my friends, smoking, looking to meet guys, having all the freedom a 12 year old should not be having...

So I feel encouraged by this scripture above which ensures me I am not the mean, single and overprotected mom that other adults like to label me as.. I believe with Gods strength the drugs, the rebellion, the ignorance, and the interests can be lessened and redirected with love and wisdom through TRUTH..
I am the child of God which lost her way because there was no one around who loved me more than themselves who wanted to take my life and relationship with my creator and make it a priority.. I remind my preteen she has the rest of her life to worry about what other people are doing around you. For now anything she would like to do in regards to exploring her youth she needs to speak to God about it first then myself and we can find an easy workable solution based on truth and awareness..

Sometimes as parents we think "Oh we did that let them be kids".. But do you really think they wont have the same exposures as you did.. If that's the case Your not watching very closely if your allowing your children to take the walk to the mall without an adult or allowing them to hang out at after school games without an adult.. (Not as a overpowering adult but as a family enjoying the good things in life together) Yes I agree they all seem as if they are harmless activities and yes we want to trust our children to make the right choices as they encounter things and we want them to have a social life and be successful in their adolescence and not feel sheltered from life itself..

But WATCH CLOSELY because These children are our future generations.. The freewill they were born with, but without direction and love they can fall into patterns that others present as harmless.. Any direction apart from God is HARMLESS. I always think if tomorrow is the day for me I know that my daughters will remember how much I loved them and why I wanted them to build their relationship with God and learn to rely on Him and His love and presence in their lives. They can find these great successes in relationships and social lives by introducing to them youth groups in the churches, activities in the churches focused on our youth and their challenges in being an adolescence in today's society...We as parents were given children not only as a gift from God but a responsibility to God..
Examples at my church are small groups for youth, bible studies offered for youth, Events ran by the youth directors of the church... Contact your church get involved and discover exactly what they have to offer to your children.. God tells us to mold our children..

Prayerfully you take the time to listen and grow with your children and do not be afraid to be labeled mean over bearing parent sometimes as long as it is done with love and truth.. Its not the worlds decision how you introduce life to your children. Lead them instead NOT to allow the world to dictate to them...
Love you
God Bless
Kristie

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Ecclesiastes 3:1
[ A Time for Everything ] There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

Over the past 2 days I have been researching websites that our children could use as far as another path to God and another way to turn away from what the world has to offer. I found many here at
http://www.christiankidstop100.com/ . I have found a few ones I really took a liking to which are

http://www.wycliffe.org/kids/main.html (was my personal favorite) has a section for grownups!
Really is educational, and filled with the word, out of all of the sites I have visited I enjoyed what it had to offer the most. Easy to use, Alot of good reading, and options... Audio verses included in the travels Just really enjoyed it.. I also visited a couple others
http://www.wonderzone.com/
Also a good site, daily devotionals games etc.. Another site which we could have our children take advantage of.
then there were a few others I did enjoy and thought the variety of sites would be great to pass on to all of you..
http://colkidz.com/
http://www.bigideafun.com/
http://www.clubpenguin.com/
http://www.akidsheart.com/threer/lvl1/lvl1.htm great for preschoolers and up!!!!
There are many more on the list I have posted.. I urge you parents to take some time research the sites and explore them with your children... What a great way to keep God involved in everyday with your children...

God Bless

Proverbs 18:16

Proverbs 18:16
A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great.

Life lessons even for a child of youth... My 8 yr old daughter experienced one of her first life lessons this weekend...

She came home excited and proud her name was chosen out of many to receive a gift
'A new coat, gloves and scarf' "Momma look what I won today" Delivered with the most precious smile.. She hurried to take her coat off and open the bag to try it on.. Along with the coat was a note stating it was donated and her name was drawn from a hat but if the coat is not needed please return or if the size is not right to take back to Sears and receive and even exchange for one that does..

As excited as she was she could not fit the coat. Her smile begin to turn upside down as the she tried vigorously to get the coat to fit perfectly and the gloves to glide over her hands. I assured her no worries we will take a trip to Sears after church Sunday and exchange it per the note on the bag.. She felt relieved because she "promised her teacher she would wear the New coat and pink gloves Monday to school to show her" ... There is nothing more pleasing to see your child filled with excitement over great things..

Sunday approached she was ready she had the bag in hand ready to go to church.. "Mom don't forget were going to sears after church today" "Yes MaKayla right after". We arrived to Sears, once we arrived to the return station the cashier apologized she could not exchange the coat because there was no receipt. We explained it was a donation to her school she had won and we showed her the note typed up from the principal about returning it for another size. She said OK find a coat and gloves that fits and bring it back to the cashier.. We did just that.

MaKaylas second moment of disappointment the coat she loved was not in her size. So we began looking for another same price same sale etc.. We found one same colors just a slight difference in design.. Smile back, We went back to the counter with the right sized gloves and coat and MaKayla smiling waiting anxiously for her new coat to take back to school Monday, to show her teacher how it looks.... After the cashier rang it up on the register she saw they were the same prices and everything same sale prices.. She then looked at me stated she could not give us the even exchange because we did not have the receipt, but we could pay the a balance due $24.00. I sadly looked at MaKayla and asked her " Do you think that God may have given you this coat to give to another Little girl that doesn't have a coat to keep her warm this year"? She looked at me with tears beginning to form and said "yes" I asked the cashier to "please put the coat and gloves back in the bag".

As we were walking out you could see the disappointment written all over my babies face.. We stopped after we exited and I asked her what she was thinking.. She began to explain, " I really wanted that coat" My heart crushed inside but my heart also knew that MaKayla may not have a brand new brown and pink coat but she did have a used pink coat from last year that served the purpose of keeping her warm just as warm as the new coat would have.. I shared what my heart was feeling with her and asked her "if you could choose to keep this coat even it doesn't fit, instead to give it to someone else who it will not only fit but allow her to be just as warm as you can be this winter with your pink coat", "Which would you choose with your heart?" She answered with tears and a smile "I would like to bless someone with this coat and God will bless me again later"! I looked at her with tears of personal guilt for disappointing her but because she went with her heart and choose to love another before herself the tears became of joy and honor in God that He is touching the very lives that He placed in my hands..

Moral of today's story.. I could have paid the difference for the coat, I could have allowed MaKayla to keep the coat it would have made it this winter or I could have given her the opportunity to bless someone else.. By allowing her to choose with Gods heart she became a better person then she may ever know at the young age of 8.. I am thankful for the presence of God in our lives and pray that He remains to be the key to our every door..

Encourage your children to live the life God chooses early by giving rather then always receiving, instead of encouraging them to take in life what we really do not need...

God Bless you
I love you!

2 Corinthians 1:12

2 Corinthians 1:12
[ Paul's Change of Plans ] Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace.

What are our children learning to boast about?

I myself can see the struggle and confusion my preteen faces daily, my younger daughter who is 8 is still very easy to influence and explain life's truths to and she accepts because she believes you before the world, but with a preteen; I ask that you pray with me my brother and sisters... I remind her of idolatry Deuteronomy 4:15
[ Idolatry Forbidden ] You saw no form of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully,

When I see the many posters of pop teen hit the wall or hear the conversations of how she loves a certain young music icon, or seeing her signature become the name of her favorite young music icon.. I have no choice but to begin with scripture and explain this is a form idolatry. Where she See's this person of music more valuable then Jesus Christ. I tell her can you imagine how obvious your love for Jesus would be had you decorated your walls with pictures of Him or replace your signature with God Bless you or Jesus Loves you so that you may be a part of Gods plan to share in His Glory rather then plant seeds of the world.. At first she became defensive and denied the idea I was giving her.. But after a couple months the signature changed the pictures came down the concern of who Jesus is becomes stronger. Amen for seeds and courage to speak truth to my children because of the Lord and powerful presence He has placed in my life through the Holy Spirit...

Yesterday I came home with a decision to help guard my children's hearts for they are young and impressionable. The seeds that are sown from the world are dangerous and hazardous to their eternal lives.. I explained to my preteen how I felt about the channels she watched, how I was concerned in what she was receiving from Nickelodeon (Not sure how to spell it) She looked at me and said "are you serious Mom I would never do what they do".. I said "well then what makes you want to watch it" She looked at me speechless at first and then responded with an "I don't know" I said "me either". "I think God wants better for you then what your learning from these shows and I think it is time we limit what we allow our hearts to feel from what the world is giving us".. After I left the room she turned the t.v. off came and gave me a kiss good night and went to bed.. This morning I was listening to Inspiration.tv on the cable and usually she will walk on by but this morning she stopped and sat beside me on the couch and leaned back and became focused on the message this morning which was Jesus speaking to the disciples about loving your neighbors as yourself..
Matthew 22:37-39 (New International Version)
37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

I share this with you because I see the impressions the world is giving not only us as parents but also our children. I have loved ones I pray for daily because their children are lost in drugs and many other sinful paths at very young ages. They are more concerned with what the world sees fit then what God their creator has done for them...
I cry everyday knowing not only the parents are lost and headed for hell but their children are as well.. They believe because they are good people they will go to heaven but refuse the truth of what the bible asks of them to enter the gates of Heaven.. They see the hardships through their children's choices and comfortably say they are children this is what they do.. No it is not it is what we allow them to do by the acceptance of the WORLD.. Being chosen by GOD, It is so much more then being a good person..
My heart is breaking daily for these are people whom I love very much and yet even with my love I can not get through to them. Even by example I have loved ones who believe I have just gone insane by my Faith and don't understand or want to try and understand why I have changed so drastically.. Some have told me I have C.O.D. Compulsive Obsession Disorder for church.. At first I laughed but after the days go by I cry for the ones who don't see this as a gift from God but as a burden for their relationship with me.. I give thanks to God for opening my heart, my children's hearts and our eyes to the spiritual love of GOD...

God is glorious and amazing He used my children to get my attention and now that He has my attention He continues to speak to me regarding my responsibility as a Follower of Christ and leave my life and follow Him..
Matthew 16:24
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

This is the most serious verse in my life... This is where I face persecutions from friends, family, outsiders looking in.. This will become the most important verse for our children as they will also receive persecutions and disappointments from the world as they grow in a relationship with God their Father their creator, their author of their lives...It will be okay.... We do not need to protect them from the world we need to protect them from what can happen if they become part of the world!

I find my self in humility daily but able to boast in my weaknesses ie. smoking, failing in fasting, doubting gods truths, worrying about the world the list goes on for my sins....But these are my crosses I bare and boast that I am weak and HE IS STRONG! But because God loves me I am forgiven and I pray daily that He and only Him continues to shade layers off of sin and discomfort to my spirit of truth through time and growing Faith and truth in His LOVE...

As for non believers or even lukewarm Christians who live as an obligation to God rather than a growing, trusting, loving relationship with God Because they do not understand for they have been influenced by the world and refuse the Holy truth.. Therefore, I come to you humbly, loving and encourage you to place seeds in your children's lives. The kind of seeds that allow miracles to grow in Gods Garden.. Remove the seeds of Satan conforming of the worldly ways that allow disrespectful and rebellious children and bring in the impressions of the world as God intended of love, peace, obedience, serenity through nature and the true love of creations and what continues to be pleasing to God...

I love you and I pray for you..
God Bless you

2 Corinthians 13:14

2 Corinthians 13:14
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Dear brothers and sister,

As I write today I am thinking of ways to find meaning in fellowship with our children time spent with them not only teaching but growing in laughter and community with positive living..

I found spending time with my girls reading verses and talking truthfully of God is beneficial, but I have also learned over time just spending time playing a card game or board games such as Rummicube or Mancala is just as beneficial in growing in Faith.. It is the time spent and how we spend it.. What are we teaching our children when we invest in them.

There are many ways we can spend time with our children sharing in their joy and growth in the Holy Spirit by general conversation that may arise as well as the obvious love they will receive in the attention your giving them when we engage in positive activities..

In today's world it can be a selfish time when we are filled with work and daily responsibilities at home and with our friends as well whatever we may have committed to outside the box.. We can be consumed with technology, volunteering, community etc.. We believe that spending the numerous hours we spend searching the web or communicating we may forget the very lives God has blessed us with to touch..

I ask you from my heart to yours; What are you doing to help your children grow in Him?

I have noticed just raking up the leaves and playing with them can bring joy and peace to my 8 and 12 year olds face.. Taking some time to play house with their dolls puts me in a place of their comfort their idea of peace and fun.. It also allows me to understand how they think by play.. How they use their imagination and how often Gods spirit is truly in their daily living.

By getting my girls together writing cards and letters to children around the world to send a word of God to them allowing them to feel the blessings of Christ is building their spirit beyond what we can imagine.. There are many games you can play with your entire family that are educational for the spirit and the mind.. Scrabble an awesome game to create Faithful words and meaningful words to inspire as you play.. Playing a game of Monopoly can not only teach your child the idea of living but can also create a compassion in their hearts as they gain increases in income and their imaginations speak aloud as they build hotels and announce "this is the houses for the kids who dont have a home"..or.. "If this money was real I could feed all the hungry people" Words that cause melting pot in my Heart that God is using in every opportunity for us to grow in Faith and love for others..

Not only playing games but taking time to create with crafts.. My children have become glitter and glue crazy.. Creating pictures for the fridge and drawing the resemblance of Jesus. My 8 year old the other day drew a picture of God and her and it said on the bottom
"I hope you have a good day God".. How awesome was that feeling to read such an amazing love of God from a child reminded me how precious the verse of Hebrews 11 truly is

Hebrews 11
By Faith
1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

We have the ability to assist in the growth of the Holy spirit in our children. Instead to invite them to engage in shows on Disney or turn them away to the computer to play their favorite games or to go find a friend to play with.. We can take a moment and change lives, not only change them but SAVE them.. God is amazing in every way and He shows me daily what is good and what is right
Deuteronomy 6:18
Do what is right and good in the LORD's sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land that the LORD promised on oath to your forefathers,

He opens doors by using tools as little as a stick of glue and construction paper to allow Him to push out the world and bring in the love of Jesus..

As your sister I pray for your time spent with the children God has placed under your care.. Invest in their Faith not their religion but their "Faith" and invite in the Holy Spirit to lead you in every activity you choose.. Believe, it is Gods love and word that will become their salvation as they grow into adults facing a world of challenges and disappointments..Knowing Gods presence and building a relationship will allow them to rely on God always as they grow... But keep in mind with the time spent playing games, playing with them in the yard, creating beautiful timeless art at the kitchen table can create a lifetime in Him built by examples of Faith, Love and Joy in fellowship with one another of all the days we have been blessed with..

Love you
God Bless

Deuteronomy 12:28 Set The Example

Deuteronomy 12:28
Be careful to obey all these words that I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.

Good morning beautiful readers of Christ.
Allow me to start by saying "To set the example" has become the most important assignment in my life as a single christian mother..

Before I found Christ I believed my example was perfect, I worked, I lived responsibly by paying bills and sharing my kindness with others. As if I didn't realize setting the example meant so much more..

Children are truly our shadows we see this as babes and as they grow into toddlers and adolescents... I could see special similarities through my children growing over the years but the greatest yet was when my children urged me to find us a church that we could find community and family in..

I finally listened and followed the first invite I received to visit a church. Grace Community church (Detroit MI) This was God's perfect plan for He led us to the place where the most important start of a example would be.. Happy to say the day we entered was the the day the Holy Spirit welcomed me and found His way to keep me there..
Day after day week after week I began to grow in God, getting involved with small groups, bible studies, becoming a team player on the H.U.G.S. team serving every service as a Greeter/usher seeing the beautiful faces of the church weekly, even learning favorite outfits of guests :O),to witnessing the days where life had just worked them the week prior, noticing the shy and bold believers.
God using me to embrace each one every Sunday with a smile and a greeting they'd not forget at least until the power of worship and the message was placed past my station.

All of this began setting examples; new examples for me which in time my children began to shadow.

The old layers began peeling away step by step month by month.. The example of loving others before yourself, the example of building a relationship with God by relying on the bible for advice, seeking nurturing, genuine laughter, compassion for my sadness, finding cures for illness and heartaches.. Building Faith and trust in Gods presence through the Holy Spirit He had blessed us with. It was just an example of just some religion..
As being a Christian for me has become the greatest GIFT/ BLESSING God could have handed me to example to my children.. The examples that have been set for my children are everlasting. The sweetest sound to hear them say God bless you and not even have to sneeze for it, or to see them write songs about Jesus or draw beautiful letters with pictures to God in their mist of playtime. To hear them pray to their heavenly father with trust and confidence and love.

The examples we set for our children sets the stage for God to be Glorified. Setting the stage for the Powerful Jehovah to open Heavens Flood Gates and allow it to reign down upon us and our children as we Praise His Holy Name in Jesus..He has so sweetly proven to be "ABBA" God the Father of all creations..

How pleasing to God to see His youth growing in discernment and repentance. Feeling His Grace and finding the true meaning of thanksgiving.. As parents always remember it is what we say and do that our children follow whether it be now or then, they will indeed become your shadow... As for myself being a child was the worst time in my life but I believe it was all set for me to change the curse that was set as the examples from my forefather and beyond. Christian to Christian I ask you to get involved with church take advantage of your brothers and sisters in Christ, Take pleasure in fellowship and community. Seek out the ones who seem shy and set in their ways.. Seek friendships and bond the way God had intended for these example will shade over to your children, These examples will allow them to grow in Christ not at Christ... They will grow right into the arms of our Heavenly Father....

God has used me to make a difference in where my family tree was headed.
As an adult I found Christ standing right there waiting for me to hear His call.. Growing up with for me personally was just learning to live with the only goal being to survive. I closed my ears and eyes to every thought of a better life, what saved me was my heart, it was filled with love even through the ignorance, I had a love and a forgiveness in me only God could have placed inside my soul.. 33 years to finally hear from this heart by example, my daughters examples. I as a single mother dealt with hardships but the only request my daughters every made clear tome was "Mom when can we go to church?" After 10 years I finally saw who was setting the example all that time it surely was not me.. For once I fell humbly and saw that the stage was being set by my 10&7 yr old daughters. This was the greatest example which began a new life of continual examples of unconditional love, patience, conscience, love, serenity, trust, respect, cleanliness, forgiveness, kindness, joyful living...

I am thankful for this opportunity it was the most powerful example known to me gifted to me by the mouths He knew I would eventually hear and surrender to...

Amazing is He and the blessings of Christ and His presence...

love your children'
Set the example,
Gob Bless

Hallelujah Night vs Halloween..

How can we brake satan?

Deuteronomy 31:18 At that time I will hide my face from them on account of all the evil they commit by worshiping other gods

Many Christians battle Halloween in there own ways. As Christians we all understand to promote any evil is just that.. Promoting Satan.. For generations we have celebrated what most everyone finds as an enjoyable holiday allowing us to dress up in disguise and prance door to door looking for treats from others.

Some see Halloween as a night of children to just use their imaginations and have a fun way of getting involved with the community and receive what we all call TRICK OR TREAT. In some cases the devil has used this for His opportune time to lay his vicious hands on many of our children and use his power by lying and hurting others with tainted candies or unleashing opportunity for criminal minds to soar and be unnoticed...

I know and humbly say as a mother it is hard to tell my kids we may not participate in Halloween due to the evil that some turn into.. So instead I follow another route a new route by being honest with my children and give them alternative options such as safer areas of experiencing the holiday.. My children still participate in trick or treating but we also have added the glory of God into this night...

It can be fun for some to get that scare of the unknown for others it brings indescribable thoughts of terror.. Many Christians have decided to engage in the festive holiday but I encourage you to add truth to it..

Suggestions you may look forward to having a blast with your children:

By dressing up in playful costumes rather threatening, some Christians have decided to add Hallelujah tracts to their giving which makes this an easy way to plant seeds and PRAISE GOD for the outcomes.

I personally find the idea fantastic what better way to defeat Satan at work by throwing GOD in the mix... So my suggestion to all the parents out there whether you have a passion for Halloween or have come to the point of seeing this as Hallelujah night..

I would encourage you to enjoy the night but with truth by spreading exactly that.. Do not be afraid to be honest with your children regarding the power of Satan verses God. If we do not stand up and engage in such displays of evil how will they ever truly know the difference..

Add the word of God ,be sure to bless the children at your door in their costumes of fun and willingness to receive treats, not only send God's blessing on them verbally but also add a little something to there candies a verse revealing God's promises by representing Jesus and His awesome love..

It seems almost impossible for some due to lack of courage or still stuck in the worlds belief rather than GODS by standing up and making a difference on what once and some still consider the evilest of all days...

Deuteronomy 31:18 At that time I will hide my face from them on account of all the evil they commit by worshiping other gods

True enough the devil takes this night and uses it well but can you imagine what little chance he has by Gods childrens rebuking Satan by spreading the gospel to our children on what has been declared HALLOWS EVE. and interfere with all his evil plans.. Christians and non Christians have developed a fear of the what the world may think and actually jeopardize their own destiny of everlasting life with our creator.. God is asking us to change the world by Faith and love and deliverance from satans holds by spreading the truth and the light of God's word and His will not of our own!

Psalms 22:30 Our children will also serve him.
Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord

I say to you before you make any decision especially dealing with your children pray and allow the holy spirit to lead you.. There are ways to enjoy activities in a Godly manner one that so pleases him.. Instead to make scary faces on pumpkins or dress in frightful costumes and run around seeking the devils fun, Engage in church activities, trunk and treats with your neighbors and communities, dress in fun and happy costumes, add the tracts of the word not the world to your giving... Do not be afraid to set the example for your children... Make this year a new year celebrating fun in God's word and spreading the gospel to everyone that may pass you by..

Psalm 119:66

Psalm 119:66
Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.

Each day we are being influenced one way or the other by opinion as well as facts of the newly considered world pandemic (swine flu)

Personally as a mother it is my first reaction to feel nervous and pulled about this virus that has become today's new plague.. I go back and I read about the many viruses that have taken face over the world throughout the many generations, with each plague there have been deaths and survivors. This one is truly no more dangerous to our living but I will be honest and say it seems personally alarming due to the fact it seems to be a target for younger adults and children and the flu season has not fully begun.. But compared too many other illness that once they began until we became familiar and educated about them I believe it was the same importance/fear shown..

We as parents can continue a panic or simply research, pray and respond to what the Holy Spirit compels you to do.. I choose as a mother of two girls who I rely only God for ways to keep them safe, have spent many days and hours praying for the new situation. I am a mother who feels it is okay to allow immunizations. My daughters have received the flu shot yearly along with many other immunizations that the Health Administrators of the world offer.. Do I believe man is more powerful then God? NO! Do I beleive the medicines are more pwerful then God? No! I feel God has final say in all we do or do not do.. I also feel as if God gifted these people with the ability to create preventatives for those who are willing to use them.. As with many other illness's or viruses.

The many plagues since the beginning of time can help you refer to what living in this world can consist of when dealing with sickness vs Faith.. In regards to Faith' we already know and believe in Jesus great and his powerful love to heal us..

Acts 10:38
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
Many question themselves daily and are even feeling overwhelmed due to influences based from personal experiences or personal opinions... Should or should I not get the vaccination? Seems to be today's big question..

As a single mother, I am only writing to urge you to take the time to understand the reality of the situations and pray and allow God to answer this question for you..
I myself have already been led to vaccinate my daughters but again they have received these vaccines since they were born. I am not writing today to urge you to follow my lead but only providing comfort and assurance that having knowledge and understanding gives you an upper hand on your childrens living.. I encourage you to gain knowledge for where there is wisdom there is life...

Proverbs 3:13
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding.

My daughters are 12 & 8, both experience some sort of defect with respiratory issues not severe but prevalent to their lives so I know the risk they fall under with any form of influenza or virus.. For those who have children and are feeling the pressures and the anxiety of this social climbing situation.. Here are some common questions I found in the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS that people just like you and I are asking:
1. What is swine flu?

Swine flu is the name for the new strain of influenza virus that is circulating around the globe. It first appeared in April of 2009 in the U.S. and Mexico, and has quickly spread to all parts of the world.

2. What are the symptoms of swine flu?

The symptoms of swine flu are exactly the same as the symptoms of seasonal flu, which include fever, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, and fatigue.

There is nothing about swine flu that tells you it is swine flu and not seasonal flu, so you really have to look to public health and say, “Hey, what’s going on in my community?” This summer, if you had flu symptoms, it is likely that you had swine flu because that was all that was circulating.

3. How many people have died from swine flu?

It’s hard to say exactly how many people have died from swine flu. From April through the end of August, the CDC reported 9,079 swine flu hospitalizations and 593 deaths in the United States. From August 30th through October 10th, there were 292 reported swine flu deaths, and another 2,029 deaths that were reported either as influenza or pneumonia - some of those probably weren’t swine flu.

According to the World Health Organization, as of October 17th, there have been more than 414,000 laboratory confirmed cases of pandemic influenza H1N1 2009 and nearly 5,000 deaths. Most likely, there have been millions of cases around the world that have gone undiagnosed and unreported.

4. How long does swine flu last?

In general, you feel pretty lousy for three days, and you start to improve over the next few days though you may have a cough which lingers for weeks. If you don’t start to feel better after three or four days, you should see a doctor. Another important thing to note is that if you are starting to get better and then take a turn for the worse - meaning you get a high fever - then you need to seek medical care right away because that could mean you have a bacterial infection on top of the flu.

5. What is the swine flu incubation period?

The incubation period is the time from when you’ve been infected by the virus to when you start showing symptoms. The usual incubation period with swine flu is one to four days, but it can be up to a week.

6. Is there an increased risk of swine flu for pregnant women?

Pregnant women are at greater risk for swine flu and other respiratory infections for three reasons. During pregnancy, a woman’s immune system changes to allow the development of the baby, which can increase the risk of infection. As the pregnancy goes on, the sheer size of the developing fetus can limit a woman’s ability to take a deep breath by pushing up on the diaphragm, and taking a deep breath is a defense mechanism that forces things out of our lungs. And, lastly, many pregnant women have other children around the house, which can increase their risk of exposure to germs.

7. Swine flu vs. regular flu: How do they compare?

The big difference between swine flu and the seasonal flu has to do with who is at the greatest risk. Younger people are at greater risk for swine flu because they don’t have any underlying immunity or protection. On the other hand, the elderly are at greater risk for seasonal influenza. 90% of people who have been hospitalized for swine flu were under 65 years old. 90% of those who have been hospitalized for seasonal flu were over 65 years old.

8. Is the swine flu vaccine safe; what are the side effects?

This should be a very safe vaccine. It is made the exact same way as seasonal flu vaccines, which are given to over a hundred million people in this country every year. In fact, the swine flu vaccine actually went through additional testing this past spring to determine how many doses people would need, and that provided even more safety information. It is expected to have the exact same safety profile and side effects of the seasonal flu vaccine. The most common side effects of the injectable vaccine are redness, soreness, at the site of injection, and mild fever in the couple of days after the shot. The nasal spray vaccine also can cause a mild fever, and maybe a bit of a sore throat. It is important to remember that neither vaccine is really giving you the flu. Your body’s reaction to it is part of the way you develop immunity.

9. What are the ingredients in the H1N1 vaccine?

Again, there are two different vaccines. The nasal spray is what is called a "live attenuated vaccine." They take the virus and change it so that it can’t cause the flu, but it can infect the cells in your nose and cause an immune reaction. The injectable vaccine has a surface protein in it called hemagglutinin. All vaccines contain trace amounts of ingredients that are used in its manufacturing, as well as stabilizers so that the vaccine remains effective.

Also, if your vaccine comes from a multi-dose vial, it will have a very small amount of a preservative called thimerosol. It is important to remember that both vaccines can have trace amounts of egg protein in them, because the viruses that are used to make the vaccine are grown in eggs. People with egg allergies can’t receive either vaccine.

10. Other than taking the vaccine, what swine flu precautions can we take?

It’s important that people don’t forget those basic things that our moms taught us. Wash your hands with soap and water. If you don’t have soap and water, use a hand sanitizer. Cover your mouth when you cough with your sleeve, not your hands. Stay home when you are sick, and keep your kids home when they are sick so the respiratory infection does not spread. If you are a high-risk individual, talk to your doctor about what you should do if you get sick, so that you have a treatment plan. Those things can be very helpful and provide peace of mind

I have also Added from the Center of Disease Control

Avoid close contact.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.

Stay home when you are sick.
If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.

Cover your mouth and nose.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.

Clean your hands.
Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth.

Practice other good health habits.
Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food

Praying the information posted can help you relax and enjoy your children to the fullest!
