A Moment for Mother's

God Makes Families.....

Has your curious angel asked, where does families come from?  If so, here's a humorious moment for mothers.

The curious angel asked God, "whatcha doing", God, working a puzzle?  God answered, smiling, "I'm making a family."  The curious angel began asking more questions.  A family, the curious angel replied!  Then the curious angel asked, what are the big pieces for?

God replied, those are the father. They work hard and bear a lot of burdens.  They're the image of the Heavenly Father and the security for their families.  The big shoulders are for carrying kids and for mothers to cry on.  The large feet symbolize the solid foundation, said God.

Next the curious angel asked God, what are the pretty pieces?  They're the mothers, God answered.  The curious angel said, they sure are pretty, but fragile, too, huh God?  God replied, don't let their looks deceive you.  They are small and pretty, but most of them are stronger than men.  You see, fathers look tough it makes everyone feel secure.  Mothers need to look pretty, but they are strong inside.  Their greatest strength is their love.

The curious angel asked God one more question.  What are the little pieces?  They're the children, God answered.  They make the families complete.  Fathers and mothers conceive the little children, but I give them life. We work together to bring a new life into the world.  Mom and Dad are the parents, and they then teach their children Christian values.

God continued, some families have just one member, but they're families too.  Families are held together by love, Mine and theirs.

God said, families hold the world together.....

~Ephesians 5:1~ "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

Inspiration for Hurting Parents

God's Everlasting Love!

God has a heart for hurting parents.  Are you surprised?  After all, God Himself is a Father.  What parental emotion has He not felt.  Are you separated from your child?  So was God.  Is someone mistreating your child?  They mocked and bullied His.  Are you forced to watch while your child suffers?  God watched His Son on the cross.  Do you find youself wanting to spare your child from all the hurt in the world?  God did.

In the book of John 3:16, because of His great love for us, He gave His only and begotten Son so we are all able to have everlasting life.

Seek to build wisdom into your child, it is an honorable and sometimes difficult task.  If your child has strayed, take courage and hope from these words, that God understands your hurt.

Read ~Romans 8:32 and Proverbs 5:1-20~

Abstinence & The Bible

Did you know that the word "abstain" appears 6 times in the bible? Have you had "the talk" with your son or daughter about abstinence? Do you know the clear meaning of abstinence?

Abstain means, hold oneself off, or refrain from a certain act. A Christian foundation is learned through God's word and application. When our son and daughter takes a position of sustaining total abstinence, there is a 100% success rate if their position is held. Pray daily with your son or daughter, prayer is highly important and needed in their life.

Colossians 3:5 "Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire and covetousness, which is idolatry."

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 "For this is the will of God, your santification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you learn how to control his own body in holiness and honor."

Be strong in the Lord, Amen.

Love in Action

1 John 3:18  Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

As "we" the Parents would like to be a good example for our young people (our kids, their schoolmates or the neighbors kids), let us teach our children that as the bible says; LOVE is a true action word not just a spoken word.

We hope all the children show LOVE toward others. ACTIONS SPEAK MUCH LOUDER THAN JUST WORDS!

► God bless YOU and YOURS.
